Description: Outdoor kitchen
We designed and built an extraordinary Outdoor Kitchen. First, we excavated and install
the plumbing and electrical lines, Secondly, built a large patio covering 640 SQ ft.,
thirdly, we framed the outdoor kitchen and faced it with real stacked stone it is simply
The Outdoor Kitchen’s features are a Custom built BBQ Grill, a hammered copper sink,
and a unique countertop called shirestone this is a green alternative counter-top.
Shirestone can be poured and hand sculpted for an amazing textured finish.
We faced many challenges, first during excavation we did not want to hit any gas lines;
lucky we missed it by 1” inch. Then, we saved a small Japanese maple tree and relocated
it the center of the water feature. Finally, delivering our client an amazing outdoor rustic
retreat with all features they wanted.
Furthermore, we anchored the pavilion with 4 large 8”x8” cedar timbers, and installed
our headers and rafters made with 6”x6” #1 grade lumber. Finishing the pavilion with a
tongue & groove ceiling ( #1 grade clear southern yellow pine) this enhances the
overall rustic appeal for the outdoor kitchen.
Finally, we accented our lighting package with four custom sconces lights and special
ordered low voltage lighting with a dimmer switch. Also, installed custom cedar shakes
for the roofing materials. The cedar shakes accentuates the overall craftsman style look,
extremely well. We finished this outstanding outdoor kitchen with a new landscape plan,
new sod, and small flowers.
