Description: This traditional suburban home was originally built in 1995 as a closed-plan home. The homeowner wanted a more open floor plan, as well as a larger family room, kitchen and master bath. To accomplish this, the laundry room was moved to the upstairs hallway and the powder room was relocated to the old laundry space. A mudroom entry was also added between the garage and the kitchen. The resulting space is casually elegant with an arched entry and cherry cabinets. The master bath is now large with a slate wet room as a primary feature, and the bonus room encases a home office with a custom desk and plenty of storage. The entire house overlooks a beautiful duck pond and future outdoor living space with stone patios, a fire pit and future water feature.
