We offer cabinet lines from Mouser Custom Cabinetry, Artcraft Kitchens, Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry, and Schuon Custom Cabinetry, which is produced in our cabinet shop. Requirements: 

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in kitchen and bath design is required, with a strong preference for candidates who bring 7-8 years of expertise.

Education:

4-year college degree in interior design is preferred, with a focus on kitchen and bath design. Candidates with a 2-year degree and significant relevant experience will also be considered. Industry Credentials: Credentials such as CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer), CBD (Certified Bathroom Designer), or MKBD (Master Kitchen & Bath Designer) are valued but not required.

Core Competencies:

• Strong design skills, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically pleasing kitchens and baths that meet client goals.

• Excellent communication and listening skills to understand and translate client objectives into design solutions following NKBA guidelines.

• Proficiency in CAD and a willingness to learn KCD software.

• Ability to manage the complete design process, including generating detailed and accurate cabinet orders, as-built drawings, construction drawings, and lighting and MEP plans.

• Collaborative mindset for working with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Familiarity with renovation construction, including electrical, plumbing, framing, and other trades, is a plus.

• Sales skills, with the ability to close design projects successfully. Personality and Work Ethic: The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, client-focused, adaptable, and eager to learn.
