Brooks Burnette, Owner of Painter & Remodeling SEO, LLC
How long have you been in business, and what services do you provide?
I have been in business for about 9 months. I am a Digital Marketer specializing in lead generation through Facebook and Google Advertising, Google Maps SEO, Website Design, and Marketing Strategy.
What inspired you to get into the business?
Speaking with clients and learning about their needs inspired me to get into business. I wanted to learn the digital marketing skills necessary to help Remodelers bring in new leads. I want to set my client's minds at ease, knowing that their Facebook, Website, and Google Profiles are all taken care of.
Why did you become a NARI Atlanta member?
I joined NARI Atlanta because I wanted to get involved in the Remodeling industry and learn more about the needs of Remodeling professionals. I have already learned so much from the members I have spoken with at NARI Nights, and I am excited to continue to grow my knowledge of the industry.
What have you enjoyed most about being a NARI member?
What I have enjoyed the most about being a member of NARI is meeting all the outstanding professionals involved in the organization. Everyone, from the NARI Staff to the Members are so eager to share thoughts and ideas about how to grow and improve each other's business, and I can't wait for what the future holds as a member of NARI.
Soo Cho, Managing Director of Toro Granite
How long have you been in business, and what services do you provide?
We've been serving Greater Atlanta since 2000. We are countertop fabricators located in Chamblee —Natural Stones, Quartz, Solid Surfaces, RTA cabinets, etc.
What inspired you to get into the business?
I am an interior designer with 25 years of experience. I was a designer for a hospitality interior design firm in Chicago before becoming a Partner at Lime Granite, LLC (dba Toro Granite). I moved down to Atlanta about 10 years ago, and I started to freelance as an interior designer, and with one project, I happened to work with Toro.
My experience with Toro was enjoyable, and with their offer of a position, I started working at Toro as a Sales Associate, though it was more like a Project Manager. As such, we, the Sales Associates, oversee installation from the beginning to the end. Shortly after, I was promoted to Managing Director and am now a Partner here.
Why did you become a NARI Atlanta member?
My good friend, Tene with The Hamlin Group, suggested I become a member. It is great to network with the many contractors out there. I want our team to have more opportunities to network with others and to grow.
What have you enjoyed most about being a NARI member?
I just became a member last month. I am excited to be a member and look forward to meeting everyone!

We have been in the Atlanta market for over ten years and in business across the US for over 20. We have grown to be the largest home improvement magazine in the US, with 68 locations.
What inspired you to get into the business?
This business was started in 2002 in Cape Coral, FL, by a couple who had newly moved to the area. The magazine quickly picked up momentum. In 2007 they decided to sell franchises. The Atlanta location is a corporate office.
Why did you become a NARI Atlanta member?
We serve the NARI community of home remodelers. We help them grow their businesses by providing quality leads from their well-designed ads. We mail every four weeks to homes valued between $600,000 and $3M. We ship to 200,000 homes in Atlanta alone.
What have you enjoyed most about being a NARI member?
Spending time with small business owners and getting to know them in a meaningful way.
Hannah Howland, Owner of Howland Homes
How long have you been in business?
Howland Homes has been in business since the fall of 2022. However, I have personally gained experience from being in the remodeling industry for six years.
What inspired you to start your company?
I have always had the desire to start my own business. I have learned the various ways to manage remodeling jobs from the experience and knowledge given to me by the two previous companies I worked for. So, starting my own company meant I could control those jobs in a way that I found to be most efficient for the business and the customer. Ultimately, I wanted to create a company that provides a good experience and communication throughout the remodeling process and brings the client's vision to life.
What inspired you to join NARI Atlanta?
I was inspired to join NARI because it is a great place to connect with people in the remodeling industry. I also appreciate the knowledge that the other members bring to the remodeling industry, and the education NARI offers is valuable to me and the development of my company.
We are delighted to have shared this glimpse of some of our newest members. Please look for them at the next NARI Nights and help us welcome them to the association!
