This contemporary home was in need of a new kitchen. The mix of white and dark Shaker-style cabinets provide a nice transitional look. The new arrangement gives the cook much more usable counter space in addition to upgraded appliances that will enhance her culinary skills. A large island and an enlarged opening to the living area gives the homeowners better ability to entertain guests. Additionally, an 8’ x 10’ offset in the garage was closed in to create a mudroom.

The home was updated by removing the wall between the kitchen and great room and completely renovating the kitchen. An island, 48" commercial range, and built in refrigerator complete the transformation. A butler's pantry was also transformed to increase character and functionality. The floors were completely refinished to a "dark walnut" to add richness to the transition.
